Selections from the superb Helen Copley collection of works by American artist Howard Chandler Christy are now on display in the Special Collections Reading Room. Assembled over decades and recently donated to Lafayette College, Ms. Copley’s collection documents the full breadth of Christy’s career as a book and magazine illustrator and feature his ideal American beauty, the Christy Girl.
