Lafayette College’s deep ties to the American College of Teheran (Alborz College) in Iran are detailed by the resources gathered here.  A look at the Lafayette students and alumni who raised money for Alborz and served as teaches and administrators from 1898 to 1940, when the school was nationalized by the Iranian government.  The site also includes nearly 30 selected letters and documents written by Walter (Lafayette Class of 1919) and Estelle Groves during their first few years at the school, 1925-1930.  The full collection of more than 600 Groves letters is available in Special Collections.
