Farr was born February 5, 1915 in Scranton, PA, and earned an AB degree from Lafayette College in 1938. While at Lafayette, he was president of the Marquis Association, the business manager of The Touchstone, a member of the Knights of the Round Table (KRT) Honors Society, and a member of Student Council. Farr’s scrapbook contains news clippings, ticket stubs, and programs from various Lafayette events, class schedule cards, Lafayette Alma Mater lyric sheets, and the 1938 issue of The Lafayette, as well as various news clippings and programs from Syracuse University.
