Hotchkiss (born August 25, 1888 in Danvers, Ma.) worked as a Superintendent of Construction at Turner Construction Co. in New York City from 1911-22. He also served as an OTS Engineer in WWI. Scrapbook highlights his student days at Lafayette College. Contains ephemera related to the Sock and Buskin Drama Club and Phi Gamma Delta fraternity, sports programs, score cards, and photographs of football players and games. Also includes Hotchkiss’s screenplay for a play he acted in called “A Mexican Honeymoon,” which was performed by the Sock and Buskin on February 20, 1908, lyrics and libretto by Thomas B. Donaldson. Also includes newspaper clippings and programs related to an original satire performed in 1910 called “College Caste,” written by Richard N. M. Synder ’09
