This collection contains 100 images from the Russo-Japanese War mostly set in Dalian. The lengthy descriptions on the back of the cards display a strong pro-Japan bias. Russians are absent in the imagery and maligned in the text. Laudatory portraits of Japanese officers and Western war correspondents are also prominent.
