The Pacific War postcard collection contains postcards sent from Japanese civilians to surrendered Japanese soldiers in the Philippine Islands, Sumatra, and the South Seas. These postcards were processed by the Civilian Censorship Detachment (CCD) of the Supreme Commander of the Allied Powers.
