The papers date primarily from William E. Simon’s career in the years following his term as Secretary of the United States Treasury and document Simon’s political views and activities, particularly during the 1980 presidential election and the Reagan Administration, his term as President of the United States Olympic Committee from 1981-1984, and his authorship of two books. A small group of pre-Treasury papers is also included.
