The album mainly depicts Japanese military life and include photographs of soldiers in Manchuria, care of horses (shoeing, riding, jumping), military ceremonies and celebrations. Some photos appear to be of Japanese women and children participating in ceremonies and amusements. A few of the photographs have written information on the back, but the bulk of the photos are presumed to be from the mid-1930s to early 1940s.
