From the July 7, 1941 dedication: “This postcard album was published with war relief contributions … Thus, it is hoped that it will accompany troops and be used for mementos.” The postcards are watercolor scenes of China painted by Mutō Yashū, Kojō Kōkan, Seno Kazuzō, Kobayakawa Atsushirō, Kojima Matsunosuke, Mikuni Hisashi, Mikami Tomoharu, and others.
