Helen Copley, author of The Christy Quest (1999), spent over a decade researching the life and career of American artist Howard Chandler Christy (1873-1952). This comprehensive collection of Christy’s book and magazine illustration dates from 1899 until the artist’s death in 1952 was created by Copley. In addition, the collection contains Copley’s research files pertaining to Christy’s life and career.
