The life and career of Lafayette College professor of English James Proctor Lusardi are documented in this collection. Materials range from Lusardi’s student papers at Lafayette, his years as a graduate student at Yale, his first two teaching positions at Williams and Wesleyan, and primarily, his teaching, scholarship, and service at Lafayette. Also included are extensive playnotes taken by Lusardi while attending theater performances. The bulk pertains to the production of Shakespearean plays from 1984-2002.
